CAMBRIDGE ESOL EXAMINATIONS
…team lingue International House is a Cambridge University Authorized Examination Centre for the ESOL YLE KET e PET examinations which are mostly aimed at young learners:
YLE (Young Learners Englisg Tests) : a test for children from ages 7-12 inclusive :
These tests make an ideal beginning to foster a positive attitude to studying English (nobody fails the test but only a graded score is given) and the children are rewarded for the effort they put in to learning. .
KET (Key English Tests) : a test for young people aged 13+ (normally at Middle School level):
These tests –at elementary level - check the student’s ability to face basic life and work situations, both written and spoken and prepare for travel abroad..
PET (Preliminary Englisg Tests) : a test for young people aged 13+ (normally at High School level):
These tests check the student’s ability to face life and work situations at intermediate level. The relative certificates are recognised by employers in many European countries and are often one of the entrance requirements for many Italian and foreign universities. .
