COURSES ABROAD AND AU PAIR POSTS
International House has an excellent worldwide reputation for training language teachers and is universally recognised as the pioneer in the sector. With more than 30 training centres worldwide they shape and develop the abilities of future teachers who form the core of the teaching staff in all the ih schools throughout the world.
On-going Training
On the basis of the agreed Code of Conduct …team lingue International House puts great emphasis on the continuous development and enrichment of the teaching staff. Classroom lessons are frequently observed, teachers are encouraged to attend seminars and teaching courses to keep themselves up-to-date, there are opportunities for teacher discussions and meetings and teachers are invited to participate in workshops at other schools in the network
The Teaching Directors of the various affiliated schools meet for several days every year in the London Headquarters for an annual conference which takes its themes from the latest ideas on teaching methods, exchanging personal experiences and specific topics relevant to language training.
For teachers outside the International House network – both public and private schools - …team lingue International House offers seminars, courses and training programmes.
