ACCOMMODATION
WITHIN A FAMILY
Merate and Lecco are residential areas. The houses and apartments are generally elegant and comfortable. The families, which are chosen with care by our representative, encourage the students to participate in daily life activities. There is the choice of B&B or half board, in single or shared rooms. Arrival is normally expected on the Sunday prior to the starting date of the course, and departures on the Saturday following the end of the course.
Hotels
There is a good choice of hotels in and around Merate and Lecco, including some with lake views.
Agriturismo and other possibilities
If you enjoy the country lifestyle and food, you can stay in an Agriturismo (Guest House) This is a perfect place to relax in a quiet atmosphere. During the summer there is also the option of camping by the lake. Apartments are available, on a limited basis, but for no less than a month.
TRANSFERS
Upon request, the school can organise your transfer to and from the airport or station. However families normally meet their student in Merate or Lecco. If you wish to visit local areas during your stay you can use the public transport system (bus and train). However, we suggest hiring a car.
